Good news! Dc’s “Aquaman” is about to get a sequel.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Pictures head Toby Emmerich is already having early discussions for “Aquaman 2”.
Frankly, this is not such a shocking news since “Aquaman” is set to debut with an estimates $65 million. This could be happen, since early reviews from critics praising “Aquaman”.
But, Emmerich feels that it’s not premature to discuss “Aquaman” sequel. But it’s noted that these are early discussions and that nothing has been set in stone yet. They don’t even have a writer signed on to develop the script.
“Aquaman” tells the story about Arthur Curry, who learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and be a hero to the world.
James Wan is direct the movie. Jason Momoa plays titular character Aquaman, the casts including Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul-Matten II and Dolph Lundgren.
“Aquaman” will premiere in USA on December 21, 2019. “Aquaman” has already premiered in China and its earned $25 million debut and set the record as the highest opening debut from DC film.
